Walk a space once, leave with a measurable record of it — point cloud, mesh, and 3DGS from a single handheld capture.
Volumet is primarily an equipment rental and access provider. This page describes a supported workflow and rental support option — not a certified survey, professional BIM modelling, or consultancy service.
Handheld reality capture means recording the as-is state of a physical space by walking through it with a SLAM LiDAR scanner. The XGRIDS Lixel K2 maps its own trajectory while capturing 200,000 points per second with real-time colourisation — so a floor that would take a morning of tripod setups becomes a twenty-minute walk.
The result is a dataset you can measure, model against, and share: a point cloud for technical work, a mesh for review, and optionally a photorealistic 3D Gaussian Splatting scene for communication — all from the same capture, depending on processing workflow.
Existing-condition capture before design or demolition work begins.
Progress walks and site documentation at each milestone.
Rooms, plant, and assets recorded for operations and planning.
Property and venue digitisation, walkthroughs, and 3DGS experiments.
Archival capture of buildings and cultural spaces.
Spatial reference and 3DGS content for virtual production and XR.
This is equipment rental with workflow support. Capture quality depends on site conditions, scanning technique, and processing. Volumet does not provide certified survey deliverables or operate the scanner for you unless a partner-supported arrangement is agreed in writing.
